Based on an IED that was encountered in Ukraine during the Ukraine-Russian War, this training aid mimics the real device with inert plastic explosive and a replica electric Russian detonator.
“This particular model is a Russian booby-trap. The explosive charge is one of the Russian plastic explosives (PVV-5A or PVV-7) into which an electric detonator is placed. It appears that this device is initiated by the vape’s original on/off switch and uses its battery as the power source.”
