Inert Products has supported the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) through the production and delivery of inert replica landmines deployed across multiple international programs. Under UNMAS order agreements, our training aids have been distributed to countries including Somalia, Iraq, the Central African Republic, Switzerland, Kenya, and others, supporting both operational demining efforts and public safety initiatives.

The requirement focused on providing realistic, durable, and completely inert landmine replicas that accurately reflect the size, shape, and external features of real-world threats. These replicas enable safe, hands-on training for local deminers, allowing them to develop critical skills in identification, recognition, and response without exposure to live hazards.

In addition to professional training, these aids have been widely used in community outreach and risk education programs. By giving civilians a tangible understanding of what landmines look like, UNMAS teams are better able to communicate the dangers present in post-conflict environments—helping reduce accidental encounters and improve overall community awareness.

This effort highlights Inert Products’ ability to support large-scale, multinational humanitarian missions, delivering consistent, high-quality training solutions across diverse and often challenging environments. Our work with UNMAS underscores a commitment to enhancing global safety through effective training, education, and risk reduction.
