This inert explosive target training aid is a binary explosive (sometimes marketed as Tannerite) used primarily as a target for firearms practice. Terrorists have used this explosive mixture as the main charge in IEDs.
The training aid includes a large jar of part 1 and a plastic packet of part 2, and the training material can be mixed to simulate an “armed” explosive.
