Description
Based on an improvised landmine that was encountered in Ukraine during the Ukraine-Russian War, this device’s entire external body is covered in grass to camouflage itself.
The training aid implements a reusable pressure switch as a substitute to the real mine’s top, which was designed to break when stepped on.
“The Russians complain that this printed Ukrainian mine dropped by drones is almost impossible to see in the grass. The lid is designed to collapse when stepped on, allowing the bolt to contact the battery to complete a circuit. An electric detonator explodes the TNT filling.”

*A demonstration of the inert mine with the “Functional w/ Wireless Transmitter” option. When the pressure switch is activated a wireless signal is sent to a Battlefield Effect system, which in this case is the X-PANDR Flash+Blast Simulator (set to “Flash” + “Siren” mode). The mine switch automatically resets when pressure is removed, and it can be retriggered repeatedly without any manual interaction.

Basic Replica:
This device is visually correct only. There is no associated penalty monitor to indicate the device has been triggered.

Functional Replica w/ Siren:
This device operates similar to the real device, except there is a siren to indicate that the firing device has been triggered.
This particular model includes a victim-activated pressure switch, and the siren is activated when the firing device is activated.

This device also operates similar to the real IED, except a wireless signal is transmitted when firing device has been triggered.
A range of penalty monitors are available using this version, such as oxy/propane or compressed air blast simulation, LED lights, simulated scent generation, and more.
